My Pleasant Trip
My pleasant Trip I had a very pleasant trip climbing the Cuihua Hill last month.
There were 20 of us.We took the bus and start climbing at about 10AM.It was a long way up to the summit of the hill and the road was muddy because it rained the day before.We were talking and laughing all along the road,people sharing their food and drink,taking pictures.We spent 4hours up and down.Before we left,we went to the 'peasant's restaurant' and enjoyed a wonderful 'peasant meal'.It was really a pleasant trip.

岱庙旧称东狱庙或泰山行宫。位于泰安市区北,泰山南麓。它是泰山最大、最 完整的古建筑群,为道教神府,是历代帝 王举行封禅大典和祭把泰山神的地方。创建历史悠久,有“秦即作畴”、“汉亦起宫”之载。唐开元十三年(725)进行增修,宋大中祥符二年(1009)再次进行大规模的扩建,据《重修泰岳庙记碑》所载,时有“殿、寝、堂、阖、门、亭、库、馆、楼、观、廊、庑八百一十有三楹。”金代部分建筑被毁,元时又有增修,明嘉靖二十六年(1547)庙内大部分建筑遭到焚毁,清代再次修缮。岱 庙城堞高筑,庙貌巍峨,宫阙重叠,气象 万千。岱庙创建于汉代,至唐时已殿阁辉 煌。在宋真宗大举封禅时,又大加拓建, 修建天贶殿等,更见规模。其建筑风格采 用帝王宫城的式样,周环1500余米,庙内 各类古建筑有150余间。
天贶(音况,赏赐意)殿是岱庙的主体建筑,为东岳大帝的神宫。 殿面阔九间,进深四间,通高22米,面积近970平方米。为重檐庑殿 式,上覆黄琉璃瓦。重檐之间有竖匾,上书“宋天贶殿”。殿内供奉 泰山神即东岳大帝。民间传说此神即黄飞虎。《封神演义》中,姜子 牙奉太上元始天尊敕命,封屡树战功的武将黄飞虎为“东岳泰山天齐 仁圣大帝”,命他总管天地人间的吉凶祸福。
天贶殿内北、东和西三面墙壁上绘有巨幅《泰山神启跸回銮图》。 壁画高3米多,长有62米。“启”是出发,“跸”是清道静街,亦作 停留意,“回銮”是返回之意。描绘了泰山神出巡的浩荡壮观的场面。 画中人马,千姿百态,造型生动逼真。是泰山人文景观之一绝。
铜亭,又名“金阙”,位于庙内东 北隅的台基上。亭系铜铸件,仿木结构, 重檐歇山式。明万历年间始建于岱顶碧 霞祠内,称金殿。20世纪70年代迁入岱 庙,为我国几座著名铜亭(北京颐和园 宝云阁、武当山天柱峰顶金殿、昆明金 殿)之一。 泰山人文景观之二绝——秦刻石, 也称李斯碑。此刻石是秦二世胡亥于公 元前209年下诏书,由丞相李斯以小篆 字体书刻制成的。小篆字体笔画简易而 形体整齐秀美,较繁赘的大篆更为人们所喜爱。《泰山秦刻石》原在 岱顶,后渐磨损。至清代移存山下岱庙,曾被盗而又追回。尚存完整 者7个字“臣去疾臣请矣臣”,半残者三字“斯昧死”。《泰山秦刻 石》已成为稀世瑰宝
“五三”惨案纪念碑为纪念1928年5月3日前后日军杀戮济南军民的惨案而立。碑有二。 其一为山东民众于1928年立于岱庙天贶殿大院中,由底座、碑体两部分组成。座为束腰须弥座,高1.15米,最宽处0.95米,厚0.35米。碑身高2.73米,宽0.5米,厚0.3米,字楷书。正面书“五三纪念碑”,碑阴刻“中华民国十七年山东全省民众建立”。 其二立于1929年5月,1938年日军侵占泰城后被民众埋藏,1983年出土于岱庙遥参亭院内,立于原址遥参亭南门外双龙池旁。碑通高2.4米,分底座、碑体两部分。碑体高1.45米,呈上窄下宽四棱状,下边长42厘米,顶四角攒尖,正反两面刻“济南五三惨案纪念碑”,字大17×15厘米,底座分三层,共高80厘米:上层五个层次,层层抹角,罗叠成宝塔状;中层四方体状,正面刻“中华民国十八年五月五日立”。
岱览卷第十四?云:老人寨接,石嶂从衡六七里,古有喌鸡老人栖此,盖不减尸乡翁矣。寨巅洼处如凿,泉瀵沸而出,旋折而下,奔泻数十丈,曰悬淙,南流入双沟。其南五里,巨石紫润,曰肝华石。又南,为石练陀,崎盘曲磴,上有飞湍。? 周郢按:肝华泉当由肝华石而来。
无极庙在长寿桥北,其地原为竹林寺遗址之一域。1925年,兖州镇守使张培荣号其夫人为无极真人,在此建无极庙。庙由山门、正殿 、东西配殿和禅房组成,1986年整修。东南原有竹林寺墓塔林遗址,据民国李东辰《丙戌游记》:“竹林寺所存者惟僧塔有二,距无极庙东南可数十步,遥望如双瓶。两塔相距数尺,西塔歪斜,阳面题刻‘圆寂存公之塔’,北面座上刻字三行,左行为‘正德三年(1508)十月’,中行为‘孝徒洪囗、洪运、洪深、洪志”,右行为‘石匠李囗囗’。东塔歪斜较西塔尤甚,南面字为石花掩没,北面座上刻字三行,左行为‘正德十年(1515)八月二十八日’,中行刻‘孝徒普囗、普达、普香’,右行刻‘石匠聂囗、李绍先’。” “文革”中毁 。
在天胜寨口。自无极庙沿石阶小盘道西行,山势变得险峭,中途有巨石左右对峙,如门把守山隘,石上有题刻的“寨门”二字。《岱览》云:“自竹林寺西南入,高岸深谷,人单行,攀藤附葛而上,石窦可通,曰寨门。” 此为西汉末年赤眉起义军根据地天胜寨的寨门。进入寨门,山势变得开阔,路旁有柱窝、栈孔、石臼、房基石等,均传为赤眉军之遗迹。寨门中石壁有金代贞佑年间修山题刻。
月亮泉
月亮泉 在傲徕峰下,绝壁之下有月亮洞,内有泉,隐于高阔各数丈的垂壁之中,呈半月状,水质清洌,终年不竭,冬日结为冰柱,如美玉饰崖,石壁上有今人所题“月亮泉”三字。泉旁有爬山虎,爬满了半个石崖,使山峰显得愈加苍翠葱郁。
扇子崖
扇子崖 扇子崖又名仙人掌。一峰兀自独立,东西宽而南北窄,形如巨扇,故而得名。明代杨博题"仙人掌"。其崖三面峭立如壁,唯西南稍有斜坡,但块石累立,人多不敢攀跻。相传赤眉军据守此山时,以此为为暸望台。扇子崖之巅有建房遗迹,传为明末举人王无欲之读书处。民间有“打开扇子崖,金银财宝往家抬”的传说。1990年,依崖凿阶,修筑云梯,以便攀登。扇子崖顶部可观傲徕峰、壶屏石、蜡烛峰、青桐石、岱顶、猴子石等。扇子崖顶部有一池,据传有水时曾有鱼,可谓之“天鱼”。 《泰山图志》云:“扇子岩,一曰仙人掌。在扇子岩东。”《泰山述记》云:“倾崎宛如折箑。岩北旧多青桐,曰青桐涧。” 《泰山道里记》:“青桐涧水东流入竹林西河。明季州举人王无欲筑室崖巅,复结茅其下,曰西山别业。其时樱桃夹径,松槲盘纡,今濯濯矣。仅存石庙,曰无梁殿,祀玉皇。下为石阁,阁洞四虚,上祀元始天尊,并无欲建,碑记在焉。” 清孙宝侗《扇子崖》诗:“剑峰怒刺天,积铁拔千刃。阴崖辟断崿,欹侧恐重偾。俯临鬼谷幽,旁倚丈人峻。望来方骨惊,栖者先足振。石屋倚崖悬,断壁垂绠进。造物既设幻,斯人亦好遁。何年寻猿栖,此日欲鹏运。矫首望青冥,浩然已神奋。”
壶瓶崖
壶瓶崖 位于青桐涧北面的石崖上。危崖拔起,壁立万仞。由于岩石风化剥蚀的原因,崖上的一块凸起,宛如一尊高浮雕的古瓶故而得名。宝瓶崖之巅奇石甚多,中有一石兀然独立,就像一人站立,石下有群石如牛,故人称“牛倌石”。《岱览》云:“壶瓶崖,在青桐涧北,危崖凸出,类彝状。”
玉皇洞
玉皇洞 在天胜寨寨门西北,为一石洞。因洞中有了三孔透光,又名三透天。传说是赤眉起义军的暗堡,洞前有开阔坦地,称为演武场;西南山岗处有相传起义军练马的地方,名为演马场。《泰山道里记》云:“三透天,在寨门西。俗呼玉皇洞。”《泰山图志》云:“西一洞,中可窥天者三也。”
黑龙潭
“黑龙潭为一天然石穴,经激流常年冲击,口小腹大,深不可测。传说此潭与东海相通,又有黑龙镇守,所以称‘黑龙潭’。黑龙潭北去,有断崖横亘,号‘东百丈崖’。崖巅建有长寿桥,如长虹卧波。桥南有自然石纹,称阴阳界。西溪之水如天河,自长寿桥悬流而下,龙啸虎吟,直捣‘老龙窝’,形成泰山上最大的瀑布—黑龙潭瀑布。东百丈崖外,黑龙潭边还有西百丈崖和南百丈崖。夏日暴雨过后,三条瀑流自崖巅冲下,犹如玉龙从云中凌空而降,形成‘云龙三现’的奇观。”

黑龙潭在西溪百丈崖下,因有瀑布飞流直下,常年倾泻,冲击而成。传说潭与东海龙宫相通,有龙来去,故名。元人徐琰《萃美亭记》中描摹龙潭景色:“泰山胜境窈然而深,蔚然而秀者,西溪而已。溪居岱宗之右麓,延袤数十里。树林阴翳,磴道崎岖,清泉奇石,瑰玮万状。行愈远,而山愈奇、境愈胜。极溪之所穷,巅崖百丈,悬流下掷,望之如垂练,天绅泉也。天绅之西,有巨壑焉,一水自天胜岩落,为盘石所散,漫泻于壑之上檐,若建瓴然,水帘洞也。而又芙蓉、悬刀、飞鸦、狮子诸峰,削翠其上;黑蜧、白龙神潭水府,潜珍其下。云烟吐吞,晦明变灭,跳珠溅沫,轰雷掣电,顾接有所不暇,真山水之窟宅,天壤之奥区也。”清人缪润绂有诗描写:“真源流不竭,飞下最高峰。俯注潭千尺,深藏或有龙。” “龙潭飞瀑”是西溪名胜之一。 桥南潭上崖边有几条平行白纹横贯东西,俗名阴阳界。崖边至长寿桥之间是一坦阔石坪,游者在其上观景戏水,其乐融融。由此过长寿桥前行,可通往扇子崖、傲徕峰.

The Immortal Bridge(Chinese: 仙人桥; pinyin: Xiānrén Qiáo), a natural landscapeMount Tai is a tilted fault-block mountain with height increasing from the north to the south. It is the oldest example of a paleo-metamorphic formation from the Cambrian Period in eastern China. Known as the Taishan Complex, this formation contains magnetized, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock as well as intrusions of other origins ring the Archean Era. The uplift of the region started in the Proterozoic Era; by the end of the Proterozoic, it had become part of the continent.
Besides the Jade Emperor Peak, other distinctive rock formations are the Heaven Candle Peak, the Fan Cliff, and the Rear Rock Basin.
Mount Tai lies in the zone of oriental decious forest; about 80% of its area is covered with vegetation. The flora is known to comprise almost 1,000 species. Some of the trees in the area are very old and have cultural significance, such as the Han Dynasty Cypresses, which were planted by the Emperor Wu Di, the Tang Chinese Scholartree (about 1,300 years old), the Welcoming-Guest Pine (500 years old) and the Fifth-Rank Pine, which was named originally by the Emperor Qin Shi Huang, but was replanted about 250 years ago.
[edit] Physical FeaturesMt. Taishan rises abruptly from the vast plain of central Shandong, and is naturally endowed with many scenic sites. Geologically, it is a tilted fault-block mountain, higher to the south than north, and is the oldest and most important example of the paleo-metamorphic system representative of the Cambrian Period in eastern China. Referred to as the Taishan Complex, it comprises magnetized, metamorphic, sedimentary rock and an intrusive mass of various origins that were formed in the Archean Era 170-200 million years ago. Subsequently, in the Proterozoic Era, the Taishan region began to rise, becoming part of the continent by the end of the era. Uplift continued until the middle of the Cenozoic Era. The gneiss which emerged in the Taishan region is the foundation for all of North China. Cambrian strata, fully emerged in the north, are rich in fossils. Six streams flow from the summit, their water renowned for its extremely low mineral content, slight acidity (pH = 6.3) and relatively high oxygen content (6.4 milligrams per liter (mg/l).

Dai Temple at Mount TaiThe Temple of the God of Mount Tai, known as the Dai Temple (Chinese: 岱庙; pinyin: Dàimiào), is the largest and most complete ancient building complex in the area. It is located at the foot of Mount Tai in the city of Tai'an and covers an area of 96,000 square meters. The temple was first built ring the Qin Dynasty. Since the time of the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD), its design has been a replica of the imperial palace, which makes it one out of three extant structures in China with the features of an imperial palace (the other two are the Forbidden City and the Confucius Temple in Qufu). The temple has five major halls and many small buildings. The centerpiece is the Palace of Heavenly Blessings (Tian Kuang), built in 1008, ring the reign of the last Northern Song Emperor Huizong. The hall houses the mural painting "The God of Mount Tai Making a Journey", dated to the year 1009. The mural extends around the eastern, western and northern walls of the hall and is 3.3 metres high and 62 metres long. The theme of the painting is an inspection tour by the god. Next to the Palace of Heavenly Blessings stand the Yaocan Pavilion and the entrance archway as well as the Bronze Pavilion in the northeast corner. The Dai Temple is surrounded by the 2,100 year-old Han Dynasty cypresses. Oldest surviving stair may be 6000 granite steps to the top of the sacred Tai Shan mountain in China
The site contains a number of well-preserved steles from the Huizong reign, some of which are mounted on bixi tortoises. There is a much later, Qianlong-era bixi-mounted stele as well.[6]
Dongyue Temple at Mount Tai
Zengfu Temple at Mount Tai[edit] Azure Clouds TempleThe Azure Clouds Temple (Chinese: 碧霞祠; pinyin: BìXiá Cí), near the top of the mountain is another grand building complex, a special combination of metal components, wood, and bricks and stone structures. From the Taishan Temple to the Azure Clouds Temple there are numerous stone tablets and inscriptions and ancient buildings on the way. Visitors derive much pleasure from climbing Mount Taishan. From the red gate at the foot of the mountain to the South Heaven Gate at the top are some 7,000 stone steps, which wind their way up the mountain slopes, each step offering a different view.
[edit] Other monumentsA flight of 7,200 total steps (including inner temple steps), with 6,293 Official Mountain Walkway Steps, lead up the East Peak of Mount Tai, along its course, there are 11 gates, 14 archways, 14 kiosks, and 4 pavilions.
In total, there are 22 temples, 97 ruins, 819 stone tablets, and 1,018 cliff-side and stone inscriptions located on Mount Tai. These include the Jade Emperor Temple (Chinese: 玉皇庙; pinyin: Yùhuáng Miào), the Qingdi Palace (Chinese: 青帝宫; pinyin: Qīngdì Gōng), a Confucius Temple (Chinese: 孔子庙; pinyin: Kǒngzi Miào), the Dou Mu Hall (Chinese: 斗母宫; pinyin: Dòumǔ Gōng) and the Puzhao Temple (Chinese: 普照寺; pinyin: Pǔzhào Sì).
Among the tablets and inscriptions on the top of Mount Tai, the inscription that declares Mount Tai the "Most Revered of the Five Sacred Mountains" (simplified Chinese: 五岳独尊; traditional Chinese: 五岳独尊; pinyin: Wǔyuè Dúzūn) on the "Sun Viewing Peak" (Chinese: 日观峰; pinyin: Rìguān Fēng) is particularly renown. It was written by a member of the Aisin Gioro clan (Chinese: 爱新觉罗玉构; pinyin: Àixīn Juéluō Yùgòu) in 1907 and is featured on the reverse side of the 5 yuan bill of the 5th series renminbi banknotes. Another inscription marks the "Lu-Viewing Platform" (Chinese: 瞻鲁台; pinyin: Zhānlǔ tái) from which Confucius took in the view over his home state of Lu and then pronounced "The world is small".
The Wordless Stela (Chinese: 无字碑; pinyin: Wúzì Bēi) stands in front of the Jade Emperor Temple. Legend has it that the emperor who commissioned the stela was dissatisfied with the planned inscription and decided to leave it blank instead.

各位朋友,现在我们顺着天街向东走,在天街的东首,我将带您去游览一座白云缭绕的“天上宫殿”,这座大殿布局周密,结构严谨,殿里有很多精巧的铜、铁小铸件,而且这天上宫殿还是是泰山上最大的古代高山建筑群。我相信大家在看了它以后,都会感叹我们的祖先是如此的勤劳和智慧。哎,这天上宫殿就是泰山碧霞元君的上庙——“碧霞祠”。在古诗中啊,曾有诗人用"天门遥指碧霞祠,云雾衣裳日月旗"、"巍巍金殿插云边"等句子来赞颂它。
“碧霞祠”创建于宋真宗东封泰山的时候,后世有过多次重修。碧霞祠最开始的时候是叫昭真祠,金代叫昭真观,明代扩建以后改称碧霞灵佑宫,碧霞祠的名字,很可能是清乾隆三十五年重修后改称的。碧霞祠现在有二进院落,五间正殿。它在建筑上最大的特点是殿顶有瓦垄360条, 象征着全年360天。
碧霞祠主祀碧霞元君,道教尊称为“天仙圣母碧霞元君”,传说为玉皇大帝的女儿。在清代张尔吱的《篙庵闲话》曾经记载过这样一个小故事:说汉时仁圣帝时,泰山上曾经有一对石刻的金童玉女,五代的时候大殿塌了石像也坏了,小童不知道散落到了哪里,而玉女则沦于泰山顶的“玉女池”中。宋真宗东封泰山,在玉女池中洗手的时候,一尊石人浮出水面,洗干净之后,原来就是曾经跌落玉女池的玉女石像也。于是宋真宗命有司为玉女建立祠堂,号为圣帝之女,封号天仙玉女碧霞元君。”民间则俗称“泰山老母”,相传是保护妇女、儿童的神仙。我们来祠院中碧霞元君的大殿,殿堂五楹,重檐八角,飞檐画栋,宏伟壮丽。
碧霞祠的五间正殿由于山顶上狂风暴雨较多,加以冬季特别寒冷,陶瓦很易破裂。因此正殿的盖瓦,檐铃都是铜的。左右各三间配殿和五间山门的盖瓦,都是铁的。殿前有香亭一座,亭内神像、摆设也都是铜质的。铆固瓦当的是水兽,用来防止火灾。正殿外的匾额由乾隆皇帝题字:“赞化东皇”、内匾由雍正皇帝题字:“福绥海宁”。殿内供奉的就是碧霞元君。东西配殿供奉的分别眼光奶奶和送生娘娘,据说,这碧霞元君、阳光奶奶和送生娘娘是姊妹仨。她们姊妹三人在老年妇女中特别有威望,而这也正是很多老年妇女执着登山的重要的原因。就好象我们的现实生活中,这做领导的有没有威信,关键就看他是否能得到群众的拥护一样,这神威不威,看来也主要是看干的事能不能干到百姓的心坎上。

在大殿的前面是“香亭”,里面供奉着元君的小铜像,大概是泰山奶奶为香客“开小灶”的地方。亭的两侧是两块巨大的铜碑,这两块东西对峙的巨大铜铸大碑俗称“金碑”,东面的一块是明万历年间《敕建泰山天仙金阙碑记》;西面的呢是天启年间《敕建泰山灵佑宫碑记》。亭前的是明代嘉靖和万历年间铜铸千斤鼎和万岁楼。
南边的大山门,门的里面分别列有四尊铜像即,青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武四位门神。左右两边是两座钟鼓楼。南楼的门上曾设有歌舞楼,看来啊,元君奶奶也是爱听歌看舞的。大门的外面是金藏库,俗称“火池”,是元君奶奶收集善款的地方,整日香烟缭绕,纸火升腾。

From the Taishan Temple to the Azure Clouds Temple there are numerous stone tablets and inscriptions and ancient buildings on the way. Visitors derive much pleasure from climbing Mount Taishan. From the red gate at the foot of the mountain to the South Heaven Gate at the top are some 7,000 stone steps, which wind their way up the mountain slopes, each step offering a different view.
