平時經常吃到花生做的小食品，一日三餐也離不開醇香的花生油，但真正參加收花生的勞動，我還是感到很新奇很期待。吃過午飯，我和大姨一家來到山上的花生地里。地里的花生已經被大姨夫上午用手扶拖拉機犁出來了，我們下午的工作是收花生。先把花生從土裡拔出來，再抖抖它身上的泥土，把果實和蔓分離，用小推車把它運到路邊的空地上。這些工作說起來簡單，干起來就不是那麼容易了。我先去拔花生，拔了幾棵手就火辣辣的疼，我又去摘花生，可一會兒手臂就酸疼的不行了。心想推小車一定又輕松，又有趣，可是裝滿花生的小車在松軟的土地上推起來又費勁又難掌握平衡。那時我已經感到筋疲力盡，又飢又渴，我拿出准備的水，一口氣喝進去一大半，雖然不時吹過一絲絲涼爽的秋風，可是我還是又累又熱，再回頭看看大姨夫他們，一邊勞動一邊談笑風生，我不由得對他們又增添了一份敬意。
