北海道を除く各地は6月上旬【じょうじゅん】から7月中旬【ちゅうじゅん】にかけて高溫.多濕のシーズンになります。8月から10月にかけては日本列島【れっとう】の南西部は台風の影響を受けることが少なくありません。京都のような盆地【ぼんち】では降雨量は少ないですが、気溫の上下【うえした】差が大きく、夏は暑く冬は寒いです。日本の大部分の地方で最もよい季節は春と秋です。桜の美しい4月や綠の美しい5月は海外の観光客も多く、また10月頃の紅葉も魅力的【みりょくてき】です。

首先，去日本旅遊或者在那邊生活學習的人很多，很有可能能碰上會日語的老鄉，而且日本也有很多地方用漢字做標識，即使不會說日語也不會有太大的問題。
其次，英語當然可以，因為英語好歹也是一種世界通用的語言。只不過並不是所有日本人都能懂並且會說英語。
最後，如果是自由行，最好去之前可以學一點簡單的日語。

我建議不要說英語，因為日本人很有可能聽不懂你說的英語，他們學的英語都帶有十分濃重的日本口音，即使他們聽懂你說的英語了，你也無法聽懂他們說的英語。日本人學的是啞巴英語。如果真的需要與當地人溝通的話可以使用肢體語言或者提前查查攻略。。。。實在不行的話可以寫漢字。。。因為日語很多都是漢字翻譯過去的，他們應該看得懂。。。
