1、大縱湖的景點，大部分人最關心的問題，尤其在鹽城上學的外地朋友，想出去放鬆下心情尋求旅遊感覺，自然會想到大縱湖。值不值得去，那是看每個人的心境了，我去過新疆、西藏、雲南等地方，在那想去旅遊一番不跟團隊的情況下，要乘火車再轉汽車，花上整整一天的時間，確實很疲勞，但當你看著遼闊的草原、巍峨的冰山、茫茫千里的沙漠……試問還會覺得累嗎？回到主題，大縱湖的景點在鹽城來說算是最有景點風格的一個地方了，不到2小時的車程去一趟景點有何不值？至於裡面的景象問題，我可以說是越來越好，畢竟這些都是人工後期開採的，建立了影視城、東晉城，看起來還是很壯觀的。至於住宿問題也得到了較好的解決，這里有海浩水潤天成酒店、蛟龍賓館，住宿環境都是不錯的。
2、大縱湖的特產，吃貨們的最愛，尤其國慶期間，很多外地朋友都會自駕游到這里，然後在當地買上一些螃蟹，細細的品味一番大縱湖。這里的螃蟹說真話，與陽澄湖的大閘蟹相比確實有點遜色，但這里的螃蟹氛圍是當地人多少年來凝聚而成。大縱湖的醉蟹，這個因人而異了，味道很好還夾雜著一番美酒感。
4、大縱湖的教育醫療，呵呵，這些說實話，就是一個鄉鎮標准，該有的我們都有，不該有的我們也申請不來。
